Jo Woods (they) is a Catalytic Open Floor Movement Teacher & Art in Motion Teacher, DJ, Renegade Artist & Writer, Registered Nurse, Open Floor Mentor & Activist with over 25 years of Mindfulness experience. Jo both teaches & co-ordinates for ‘Dance in the Hills’ Sassafras, ‘and 'Dance in the Wild' our annual community festival.
Jo’s rich sense of humour, beautifully crafted soundscapes, experiential wisdom & vibrant spirit become the backdrop for their inspiring classes & workshops.

Amber loves to move on the universal continuum of centered stillness to wild liberation. She practices and teaches Dance Movement Therapy, Continuum breathwork, Yoga & other integrative movement arts & therapies. Amber's work focuses on restoration, meaning making and belonging. Equally clinician, mystic, provocateur & artist, Amber brings her 'Right to Embody' framework & 'Body of Change' eco-somatic regenerative retreats to communities of therapists, artists, global citizens and change-makers worldwide.

Claire Dunn & Dan Amrein
Claire Dunn is an author, speaker, barefoot explorer, rewilding facilitator and founder of ‘Nature’s Apprentice’. Claire believes that when we apprentice ourselves to nature, to the wilds both inside and outside of us, we can awaken into our full potential.
Dan’s first Vision Quest was at the age of 16 in the Lakota tradition, and since then the ceremony has been a powerful consistent thread and guiding principle in his life, both as Quester & Guide. Dan is passionate about the power of earth-based ceremony in its different forms as a tool for healing and growth.

Rosie Walford (UK/NZ)
Rosie Walford is a Coach, Facilitator & Change Strategist who expands peoples’ minds by working in wild places. After an Oxford education in Experimental Psychology & a fiercely cognitive career in London, Rosie steered off the straight path and into the forest…apprenticing herself to beehives, rivers, and mountain trails. For over 20 years she has been diving into very human predicaments, worldwide, with a mix of creative practice and eco-somatic experiencing known as ‘The Big Stretch’. Rosie has studied embodied Ecopsychology with Joanna Macy, Animas Institute, Regenesis.

David Juriansz
David took a winding path – juggling jobs as an editor, health professional, project manager, songwriter, community musician, performer & facilitator. In 2011, the call to teach came & he was part of the last training group to work with Gabrielle Roth. Since that time he has transformed the weekly class Meredith started into the ‘Tsunami Wave’ – a deep catalytic journey at times hosting over 150 dancers. His humour, storytelling & passion for the embodiment of the 5Rhythms, engages both newcomers and long-term dancers
TAKETINA DANCE FUSION

Justin Holland
Justin completed a three year teacher training in TaKeTiNa with founder Reinhard Flatischler. He is also a qualified Yoga teacher & has practiced Contact Improvisation dance for over 20 years.
Justin originally trained as a dancer & as a theater practitioner including: Snuff Puppets, Legs on a Wall, Back to Back theatre, Bird On A Wire and La Soirée & Polyglot theatre.
Currently Justin works full time as the Musical Director/ Choreographer for Somebody’s Daughter Theatre, creating raw and powerful theatre in women’s prisons and with at risk youth.

Bronwyn Razem
Meet the beautiful Aunty Bronwyn Razem.
Bronwyn was born in Gunditjmara Country, Warrnambool & comes from a long lineage of Traditional weavers. Bronwyn learned from her grandmother Georgina & mother Zelda Couzens. In 2013, her eel trap with emu feathers granted her the Acquisitive Award in the Victorian Indigenous Arts Awards.
Through her work, Bronwyn acknowledges the importance of maintaining the cultural knowledge behind the weaving and the role this played in times past. Teaching traditional weaving techniques asserts the strength of this cultural practice that was utilised for everyday life.

Aladdin Jones is a somatic psychotherapist, eco-therapist, facilitator, clinical supervisor & educator. He holds a masters in social ecology & education and currently teaches on the Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy professional training in Melb & NZ. He has a deep love of playing world music as well as a life-long interest in dance & being in wild nature. He has been practicing in Buddhist meditative traditions for 30 yrs & is an appointed Sensei - Zen apprentice teacher in the Diamond Sangha.

Stacie is a Wurundjeri, Dja Dja Wurrung and Ngurai Illum-Wurrung woman, artist, curator & cultural consultant based in Melbourne. With a passion for promoting a greater understanding & appreciation of Indigenous art & culture, Stacie has become a prominent figure in the Australian arts community.
Piper's work as an artist & curator highlights the importance of promoting contemporary Indigenous art & culture within Australia. She emphasizes that Aboriginal people are a living & thriving culture, having been present in Australia for over 60,000 years & that it is important to recognize & celebrate this rich cultural heritage.
